Garry goes to the dogs
January 8th, 2009
GRP partner Garry Allan is about to embark on an epic adventure in the aid of a good cause, and we’re hoping he wears more clothes than on his last charity outing (see below).
On February 16th Garry joins the Rangers Arctic Challenge expedition - led by Rangers’ Chief Executive Martin Bain - to face temperatures as low as -30C on a 200km journey inside the Arctic Circle in Norway. Garry is currently putting in the hours at the gym to get in shape - although in theory the huskies will do most of the work. Funds raised from the trip - target at least £50k - will go to this year’s nominated charities, UNICEF, RNIB and, in Glasgow, Fairbridge. To sponsor Garry, go to www.justgiving.com/garryallan.
