Take the Right Route
July 15th, 2009GRP recently managed the launch of Falkirk Council’s ‘Take the Right Route’ initiative, a 2-year Scottish Government sponsored active travel project encouraging residents of Stenhousemuir and Larbert to consider alternative transport modes other than taking the car.
GRP launched the initiative to the public with a high profile event in the town centre, which included activities to engage residents and communicate the range of local facilities available to help encourage residents to leave the car at home.
GRP devised a combination of unique interactive activities, which ensured that the initial launch of the project was understood clearly by the target audience as well as capturing data for future activities. These included the use of Bluetooth, instant photography interaction, video feedback techniques as well as the more traditional fun events.
The launch activity included a targeted direct mail campaign, outdoor, ambient and press advertising, as well as an interactive website with event related photo library and registration facility.
